Empowering Children in Mahiyanganaya

Approximately half of Sri Lanka's population of children below the age of 5 is living in poverty, and an alarming proportion of infants are experiencing undernutrition. This distressing situation stems from the economic devastation that has endangered the well-being of the country's most vulnerable demographic. Mahiyanganaya is a town situated close to the Mahaweli River in Badulla District, Uva Province of Sri Lanka.

We took the responsibility of distributing 200 school bags, stationary items amounting to LKR 250,000, and shoes valued at LKR 500,000 to the children residing in Mahiyanganaya. Furthermore, we had the honor of providing breakfast to the recipients as a part of our initiative.
